Quituinan Ranch

Quituinan Ranch in Camalig, Albay, is a scenic highland destination offering breathtaking views of Mayon Volcano. Located in Barangay Tinago, this open recreational space sits about 10 kilometers from the volcano and roughly 960 meters above sea level, making it one of the best spots in Albay to admire the iconic cone.

The ranch was developed and opened to the public by the Provincial Government of Albay to give locals and tourists an accessible place to enjoy the region's natural beauty. Its wide open grasslands, cool climate, and peaceful countryside atmosphere make it ideal for picnics, camping, and family bonding. Visitors can pitch a tent and spend the night under the stars with Mayon's silhouette in the distance, or simply spread a blanket on the grass and enjoy the fresh air.

Beyond its famous viewpoint, the ranch offers a range of outdoor activities. Guests can ride horses around the grounds, try ATV or UTV adventures, fly kites in the moderate wind, or let children enjoy the playground. Local vendors sell snacks like balut, penoy, and chicharon, adding a taste of provincial life to the experience. The Quituinan Hills also contain historical caves that visitors can explore. The ranch is open daily from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with an entrance and environmental fee of around ₱70 for adults.
