The trail ends at a private beach area with pillow lava rocks, and snorkeling is possible when the weather permits. On clear days, Mayon Volcano can be seen nearby, adding to the scenic backdrop.\n\nFounded by Chris and Glenda Newhall, Mirisbiris operates as a social enterprise, with income from guests going to scholarships and educational programs for the local youth. The center is also recognized for its environmental work, having received the Saringaya Award from the Department of Environment and Natural Resources in 2017. It uses solar energy and practices water harvesting, with almost all of its water coming from rain.
