The hill is about two hectares in size and is less than half a kilometer from the port.\n\nVisitors can enjoy a short but rewarding hike to the top, which takes around 15 to 30 minutes depending on the route. The climb is relatively easy, though some paths can be rough. Many locals visit early in the morning to jog, bike, or simply watch the sunrise over the bay. The area is also a peaceful place to relax and enjoy the sea breeze away from the busy city.\n\nIt is worth noting that parts of the hill may be private property, and access can sometimes be restricted. The respectful way to visit is to ask for a permit from the administration office of Embarcadero de Legazpi. A legend also tells of a giant named Colacog and his wife Tilmag who lived in a cave called Kapuntukan, adding a touch of local folklore to the site.
